MY FAVOURITE EVER

Edward Meadham: Lana is the mother of Wendy and Cornelius. She is all black and very gentle and shy at night you can hear her sing from the outside of the building all the way to the house she is singing because she is bringing me a present usually little bits of fabric or lace. She has never brought anything dead, no mouses[sic] or insects just pretty bits of fabric.
Wendy is the little fat tubby one/ she is very clever but extremely lazy. She loves food, heat and attention. She is the one who always comes to get her picture taken she has got so fat that she can’t wash herself properly and has developed little matted dreadlocks on her back.
Cornelius is more like a dog than a cat he is very, very constantly vocal. He loves cuddles but is afraid of heights; but he spends all his days at the top of the archive cupboard or in the ceiling from where he cannot get himself down so I have to climb on a ladder to lift him down, he’s a bit stupid but lovely.

I have tried to recreate the black smudge from the Charlie May video, you can't really see it but I promise it's there. Promise. Also it gives my coffee a funny little moustache underneath the sippy bit. I'm sorry that my legs look so uncomfortable and upset in the big picture, I didn't really think it was possible for body parts to look upset. It is. How great is my new Ghost thing? I picked it up from the Save the Children on Westbourne Grove, they have so so much good stuff there, go there! xxxxxx

was one of my favourite presentations over fashion week, the white air forces with white socks were so good they almost made me want sparkling new trainers. Almost. I would genuinely LOVE a brown plaid tracksuit though, especially one with an orange shearling collar. Rad. Prettiest model I saw all week as well x

REGRETFULLY

After hours, days and, unfortunately for my brain cells, weeks, of deliberation I think I've finally come to terms with the Fall 12 Meadham Collection. I wax on about Meadham ALL the time. I love Meadham, I dig them, I mean seriously I should join their PR team because I have nothing but nice things to say. But. And this is so sad. In all honesty? Fall 2012 just didn't have that *thing*. God knows what that thing about Meadham is, it's not a cohesive silhouette, it's not a consistent colour scheme or an abundance of covetable fabrics. Tinsel and bag lady layers should not a winning collection make. For the past couple of years, it has, and it's been amazing. This one? Not so much. The amount of pieces they layered into this collection felt cluttered and boxy, the long loose chiffon dresses of SS 2011 were replaced with those awkward crop bell-bottoms that fashion gurlz seem to love but I swear would make me look 4'7 and pot bellied. I don't know, maybe I just wanted Anais with mascara down her face and rainbow hair again, but the spray painted beehives and Grendel's mother inspired make-up didn't fill that hole. Fashion film normally makes me curl up and cringe but I love this AW12 film from Charlie May, the make-up and hair are perfect I love that dab of black in the middle of the bottom lip. And obviously the clothes. So so beautiful x

HI!

How are you guys? Sorry I'm so sporadic (hey cher) with my posting at the moment but I have so much to juggle with my third year of university and Mushpit AND trying to get some work done for my own stuff too. It's pretty much too long to write in one sentence let alone actually do it all and blog proficiently alongside. I'm currently putting the finishing touches to a couple of things I've done for a magazine which should be out in a few months. I was guest fashion editor which is coool but I can't find a good enough contributor picture so I might just use a beautiful cat and no-one will know it's me anyway. Mushpit 2 is now out and available HERE and we're starting to work on issue 3 which is SO exciting. Have any of you guys read or seen any of the first two? I'd love to know what you think, or any suggestions and ideas you have for stuff you'd like to see in future issues. As far as a social life goes, I really have managed to completely avoid any kind of interaction with anyone for what feels like about 4 years. I've been wearing leggings and t-shirts everyday and generally just being so boring with clothes I'm starting to bore myself to death. I'm going to start doing some more outfit posts because I bought some cool stuff and I have nowhere to wear it so I'll just wear it out into the internet instead (wow is that sad? That's so sad isn't it).

Oh yeah and can any of you give me a job in May? I mean really.
