6 REASONS
Wanna know how I manage to look both homeless and stuck up at the same time?? You should probably take note then..
1. Doc Marten boots are officially back in my good books, not only for their supreme leg lengthening quality and ability to go with anything (except high waisted denim shorts. Never. NEVER), but also unfortunately due to a frightening influx of hybrid pixie/motorbike boots on my shoe radar which must be stamped out immediately. Stamp them out. Wear Doc Martens. Easy.
2. Stripes are definitely cool but only when they embrace a spectrum of colours. I rate striped clothes on how well they can hide stains. If you can get drunk and eat a hot dog in it- it's probably fine.
3. Pick your nail varnish off like 7 of your nails. Do it right now. Seriously. It looks good.
4. Coloured mascara is amazing, my mum gave me a freebie called Sapphire Blue in December and it now champions everything else in my make-up bag. Wear it on a date, he'll wanna kiss you.
5. Get a grey school jumper and wear it over everything. I'm still looking for my perfect one, it can't be too pale or you look like you got it from Zadig and Voltaire. I'll probably make some holes in mine.. I don't really know why. I mean you can too if you like but it really isn't necessary.
6. Ask yourself why you're taking tips from a girl who frequently rubs purple lipstick under her eyes and hasn't brushed her hair in a good 4 years. Yeah I don't know why either.

ROLLIN R-R-R-R-ROLLIN ROLLIN MONEY LIKE A PIMP
It was possibly a defining moment in my life walking into the Vivienne Westwood party last week and being immediately confronted with a spitting snarling Jessie J complete in crown (of thorns?), and ever-bemused acoustic accompaniment. In aid of a jewellery collaboration of which I saw no proof, the Westwood crew instead decided to focus on how many celebs they could cram into one forest themed room before Mark Ronson showed up. It was to be fair a pretty dazzling outcome, I was personally dazzled by Nick 'Grimmy' Grimshaw, Cara 'Love my toothbrush' Delevingne and Jameela Jamil. Cough. Anyway drinking my way through the pear vodka and ginger ale with two sexy babes was made even more satisfying by the abundance of Vivienne Westwood goodies I have recently received from my favourite pimp Francesca. I didn't go completely Daniella Westbrook but I was accompanied by my super beautiful new canvas drawstring, and coat/cardigan/dressing gown/blanket from Anglomania. Bit of blue fur and some trousers that were so tight I couldn't sit down and off we went into the sunset. Now I'm going to eat cake have a bath and go shopping. FYL I love New York.
OH NICE!
I'm fully in love with these Janz & Cooper sunglasses that F gave me, they are literally the best shape ever like the big Giles Deacon ones from ages ago. They make me wanna have candy hair and wear loads of weird pastel make up and dress up like a tube of toothpaste.

Triple Threat
Karen Walker devised her Fall 2011 collection from an amalgamation of workwear, sportswear and evening dress. Taking inspiration from the dancing girls of Northern Soul her clothes had a soft easiness in cut and movement which was spliced with a boyish toughness from the undersized beanie hats and black vinyl panelling. Creating a uniform for the modern rule breaker, Walker's models looked like they'd rolled out of bed into school still half in their pyjamas clutching a catapult and hairbrush. Toeing the line between naughty and nice she subverted the conventionally masculine world of workwear with oversized overalls, simple cropped trousers and sleeveless jackets. Pretty dresses are hidden beneath identikit grey jumpers and big heavy coats and there is a strong feeling of function over form throughout the collection. Some of the dresses feel a little too costumey however with so much understated simplicity it's not surprising Walker felt obliged to create a couple of statement pieces. That aside, it's definitely the cool masculine seperates which steal the spotlight proving that while 2010 was a great year for Walker, it looks like 2011 will be even better. And if you don't agree you've got a hell of a gang to deal with outside the school gates.

Apologies
Sorry for being so crap and quiet lately, I'm atch working on a super fun shoot with Alie of Dirrty Glam with some pretty cool peepz and have been glued to my email trying to get yummy clothes that I can like touch and fawn over before I have to send them back (OH HI TBA).
